Stereoscopy: Anaglyphs

          Anaglyph: red/ blue-green glasses.

ABDOMINAL AORTIC ANEURYSM

Anaglyphs are seen in stereo if you use the coloured 3D glasses supplied with many publications.

  1. National Geographic Magazine: 1998 article on the Mars Rover.
  2. Walking with Dinosaurs, 3D version: a large book for children currently on sale in local book shops. (It is actually too good for children).

Anaglyphs have the advantage that full screen pictures are possible in 3D.

Separation of the two channels is not great with red/blue-green glasses.

Grey anaglyphs are recommended.

Colour anaglyphs are also possible. The colours look good without the glasses but through red/ blue-green glasses they are not convincing for every body. In particular red does not come out well. (Some people  prefer the colour version - it is all in the mind).
